Abstract:
Compared with western medicine treatment, acupuncture treatment of peripheral facial paralysis is more and more accepted by the public because of its simple operation, low side effects, and high cure rate, so it is regarded as the first choice of treatment. However, as various doctors have found through continuous clinical summary, the combined use of acupuncture and medicine to treat this disease can effectively shorten the course of the disease and alleviate the patient′s pain, which has significant advantages in improving the clinical efficacy. In view of the fact that there is no clear understanding of the combination of acupuncture and medicine in the treatment of peripheral facial paralysis, the clinical research reports on the treatment of peripheral facial paralysis with acupuncture and moxibustion combined with Chinese medicinal herbs were sorted, summarized, discussed and analyzed, from the aspects of acupuncture and moxibustion and Chinese medicinal herbs for internal use, acupuncture and moxibustion and Chinese medicinal herbs for external application, and acupuncture and moxibustion and Chinese medicinal herbs fumigation. The paper aims to discover the clinical efficacy of acupuncture and medicine, in order to be able to exert greater clinical effects.
