Abstract:
Objective Data mining technology was used to explore the rules of acupoint selection and meridian circulationin the treatment of male infertility(MI).
Methods Formulate literature retrieval strategies, and the retrieval databases include Chinese Journal Full-text Database, Wangfang Database, VIP Resource System, Pubmed, Embase and Web of Science. The literature was screened according to inclusion and exclusion criteria, and the prescription database of acupuncture treatment of MI was established. Descriptive analysis, association rule analysis and core acupoint analysis were implemented by using SPSS Modeler 18.0 and Gephi 0.9.1 software respectively.
Results Literature retrieval, 22 Chinese and 7 English literatures were finally included. The top 5 meridian frequencies were conception vessel, bladder meridian of foot-Taiyang, spleen meridian of foot-Taiyin, stomach meridian of foot-Yangming and governor vessel. Association rule analysis showed that there were 16 acupoints with support >30%. The core acupoints were Guanyuan(CV4), Shenshu(BL23), Sanyinjiao(SP6), Qihai(CV6), Zusanli(ST36), Baihui(DU20), Xuehai(SP10) and Taixi(KI3).
Conclusions Acupuncture in the treatment of MI mainly to tonify the kidney and spleen, harmonize Yin and Yang and nourish Qi and Blood.Commonly used compatibility is Guanyuan-Qihai-Sanyinjiao in the front and Shenshu-Ciliao in the back, and Zusanli(ST36) can be used in both acupoints compatibility above. The main channels were conception vessel, governor vessel, bladder meridian of foot-Taiyang, spleen meridian of foot-Taiyin and stomach meridian of foot-Yangming.
