Summary of Professor Zhang Chunhong′s experience in treating multiple sclerosis with acupuncture at HuaTuo Jiaji point and Chinese medicine

Abstract:

Multiple sclerosis(MS), one of autoimmune diseases with unclear etiology and pathogenesis, may relaps erepeatedly and eventually lead to disability, seriously affecting patients′ life.Based on the concept of TCM syndrome differentiation and treatment, Professor Zhang Chunhong used acupuncture at HuaTuo Jiaji point combined with traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of multiple sclerosis, achieving the efficacy of regulating the governor channel and spirit, benefiting the liver and kidney, nourishing marrow and essence, so as to control the progression of MS, and clinical curative effect has been affirmed.Through the analysis of the TCM etiology and pathogenesis of MS, this paper analyzes the TCM mechanism and summarizes Professor Zhang′s experience in treating MS with acupuncture at HuaTuo Jiaji point combined with oral Chinese medicine, and provides some ideas for clinical treatment and diagnosis.
