Abstract:
Objective
To observe the clinical curative effect of consciousness-restoring resuscitation acupuncture method for the treatment of chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS) .
Methods
A total of 39 CFS patients, including 14 male and 25 female, were selected in Department of acupuncture and moxibustion, the First People's Hospital of Jinan City from October 2009 to October 2013. Patients aged from 16~65 years old for male and 19~58 years old for female. The longest duration was 18 months and the shortest 7 months. The consciousness-restoring resuscitation acupuncture method was used for treatment in patients, and the curative effect was observed after 4-course treatment.
Results
After 4 courses of treatment, there were 11 cases were cured, 17 cases markedly effective, 7 cases effective, 4 cases invalid.The total efficiency was 89.74% (35/39). After 6-month follow-up, it was showed that the treatment method was effective.
Conclusion
The consciousness-restoring resuscitation therapy is significantly effective in treatment for CFS.
