Abstract:

Two ancient texts on meridians unearthed from the Han Dynasty Tomb in Mawangdui, Changsha, were named by experts as " Silk Manuscript: Meridians" . Through comparative study of literature, the author found that Huangdi Neijing adds a meridian on the basis of Silk Manuscript, and names meridians with the zang fu organs, connecting them with each other, forming the characteristics of rings without ends, which enriches the treatments and develops the contents of Silk Manuscript.The arrangement of several texts in Huangdi Neijing follows the style of Silk Manuscript.Also, wordsin Huangdi Neijing such as" arm Taiyin" , " arm Yangming" and " hand Taiyin centripetal distribution" can be seen in Silk Manuscript.In " ZhenjiuJiayi Jing" and " Illustrated Manual of Acupuncture and Moxibustion" , the points layout order is still in accordance with the centripetal arrangement in Silk Manuscript.The paper hopes to rationalize the development of meridians and acupoints.
