Abstract:

Integration of Chinese and Western medicines, equal supports of both traditional Chinese and Western medicines and appropriate adoption of Chinese or Western methods are the direction of China′s medical development and the request of President Xi Jinping for medical workers. Being blind to modern medicine and modern science by Chinese medicine workers, which on one hand, affect the improvement and exploration of traditional Chinese medicine itself and slow down its modernization process, and on the other hand is easy to lead to misjudgment of some diseases and make patients lose the best opportunity for treatment. Being blind to Chinese medicine by modern medical workers will affect the modernization process of Chinese medicine and make patients lose or miss many of the best treatment opportunities as well. Application of some principles of traditional Chinese medicine in modern medicine are expounded from three aspects: clinical application of methods of removing blood stasis and dredging the pulse, soothing the liver and regulating the mind and strengthening and invigorating the body. Both traditional Chinese medicine and modern medicine are life sciences of human body with their own advantages, and both are indispensable interventions for human health.
