Clinical practice of regulation of mind in acupuncture treatment of restless legs syndrome

Abstract:

Restless legs syndrome is a common neurological disease，which belongs to the category of sleep disorders.It seriously affect the sleep quality of patients.For a long time，patients will appear mental symptoms such as irritability，anxiety，or depression，which bring patients great burden of life.The patients with the mild degree of restless legs syndrome do not need to medication，and the moderate to severe degrees need regular medication.Dopaminergic drug is the first selection.Western medicines has certain curative effect on restless legs syndrome，but there are many adverse reactions，and they are likely to resistance.In some patients symptoms still occur repeated after withdrawal.The treatment effect is not satisfactory.Treatment with acupuncture for restless legs syndrome from regulation of mind is aimed to tranquilize mind，relax the tendons，and improve the patient's sleep.The treatment is easy to operate，and has noside-effects，showing obvious advantages.
