Abstract:

Back-shu points are all specific acupoints with special distribution. With the same functions as other points, they can also be used to diagnose and treat relative Zang-fu and five-sensoryorgans-diseases effectively.Anatomically, they are correlated to the organs; physically, they are connected to the meridian and collateral qi; pathologically, there exist positive points in them. In the clinical acupuncture, they have the same functions as other points in the Bladder meridian, and they also have special functions. They can help to diagnose specific diseases, thus can be used for fast diagnosis. They can be used to treat relative Zang-fu alone, and can be used for keeping balance of Zang-fu, Yin yang and qi,blood, with the advantage of fewer points and better curative effect. For five sensory organs diseases, they are also effective. The author tries to summarize the clinical application of them in recent years.
