Abstract:

The First Teaching Hospital of Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine was established in 1954. The development process of this " the first hospital in Tianjin" is not only a microcosm of the development of traditional Chinese medicine in Tianjin, but also an important milestone in the process of modernization and internationalization of traditional Chinese medicine in China. Acupuncture is the unique core feature of the hospital. Its exquisite skills and excellent curative effects play an inestimable key role in the development process of the hospital. After seventy years, the discipline of acupuncture has been continuously advancing in inheritance and innovation. It has not only set an industry benchmark in China, but also demonstrated the unique charm and profound heritage of traditional Chinese medicine on the international stage. On the occasion of the seventieth anniversary of the establishment of the hospital, this article is dedicated to looking back on the glorious years of the past and paying tribute to the pioneers and colleagues who have silently dedicated themselves to the cause of traditional Chinese medicine. At the same time, looking forward to the future, we will continue to write a new glorious chapter in the development of traditional Chinese medicine and contribute to promoting the modernization and internationalization process of traditional Chinese medicine.
