Abstract:

Hypertension is a kind of progressive cardiovascular syndrome that is characterized by continuously rising of arterial blood pressure, which is the main risk factor of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, such as coronary heart disease, stroke etc. The etiology of hypertension is the basis of cognition and therapy of it. The therapy and prevention of hypertension are determined by the causes of hypertension. Recently, there are many researches on hypertension, such as hypertension etiology research, antihypertensive drug research. Animal experiments play a great role in these researches. Through these animal experiments people have known more about the etiology and pathogenesis of hypertension. The causes of hypertension are involved in a wide range, and the pathogenesis is complicated. Therefore, according to different etiology and pathogenesis, people have developed more effective drugs acting directly on the lesion site and the system to enhance the treatment effects. At the same time, it is trying to reduce the drug damaging the target organ as much as possible. In this paper, in the light of the importance of the etiological research of hypertension, the progress of basic experimental research related to the formation of primary hypertension has been summarized by chronological order.
