Abstract:

Diabetic nephropathy is one of the major microvascular complications of diabetes and a major cause of end stage renal disease. Professor Wang Yingli has long been engaged in the clinical work of traditional Chinese medicine nephropathy, with solid basic theory and rich clinical practice experience. Professor Wang believes that the early treatment of diabetic nephropathy with Chinese medicine can significantly delay the progress of the disease.According to the type of diabetic nephropathy with deficiency of both qi and yin, Professor Wang applied the self-made Gushen Qingxue decoction as the main prescription, combined with the drugs tonifying qi and yin, activating blood circulation to dissipate blood stasis, so as to improve the symptoms of deficiency of both qi and yin in early stage of diabetic nephropathy, and to treat proteinuria. On this basis, according to individual differences and clinical syndrome, addition and subtraction would be made, and the treatment effect was remarkable.
