Research progress of reinforcing-reducing method by twirling needle

Abstract:

Acupuncture is widely used in clinic and has curative effect.The reinforcing-reducing method by twirling needle, as one of the basic reinforcing and reducing methods, is widely used.The rational use of reinforcing-reducing method by twirling needle can improve the clinical effect, but the understanding and criteria on the operating techniques have not been unified. Through the analysis of ancient and modern literature, the operation techniques, mechanism and effect of the reinforcing-reducing method by twirling needle are explained, hoping to provide evidence for the operating criteria and effect of the reinforcing-reducing method by twirling needle, and to provide assist for the clinical effect of acupuncture.
