The First Teaching Hospital of Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine was established in 1954. The development process of this " the first hospital in Tianjin" is not only a microcosm of the development of traditional Chinese medicine in Tianjin, but also an important milestone in the process of modernization and internationalization of traditional Chinese medicine in China. Acupuncture is the unique core feature of the hospital. Its exquisite skills and excellent curative effects play an inestimable key role in the development process of the hospital. After seventy years, the discipline of acupuncture has been continuously advancing in inheritance and innovation.
