《顺气一日分为四时篇》为《灵枢经》中非常重要的一篇，该篇主要论述疾病的起因，一日中病情随着阳气的增减而呈现"旦慧、昼安、夕加、夜甚"特点，以五输穴主治五脏病，依"冬刺井、春刺荥、夏刺输、长夏刺经、秋刺合"的规律选穴。同时还可据"脏主冬、时主夏、音主长夏、味主秋、色主春"取穴，对于针灸临床治疗疾病具有非常重要的指导价值。
