《灵枢经》为我国现存最早的医学典籍之一，该书创立的中医学理论体系和针法原理，成为中医理论和针灸学发展的核心，其中《营卫生会》是其中非常重要的一篇。该篇论述营卫之气的生成及运行规律，营卫之气来源于水谷精微，清的部分称为营气，运行于脉中；浊的部分称为卫气，运行于脉外，营卫之气运行不休，相互贯通，如环无端。同时介绍“上焦如雾、中焦如沤、下焦如渎”的三焦生理和病理特点，及老年睡眠障碍与自汗患者的治疗原则，为临床治疗此类疾病提供治疗思路。

＂Lingshujing＂ is one of the earliest surviving medical classics in China. The theoretical system of traditional Chinese medicine and the principles of acupuncture were established by this book，which had become the core of the development of traditional Chinese medicine theory and acupuncture.＂EngendermentandInteractionofYingandWei＂ is one of the particularly important articles in this book.Engenderment and interaction of Yingqi and Weiqi was discussed here after.Both comes from the essence of the water and cereals，Yingqi， the clear part， runs in the blood vessel， and Weiqi， the turbid part， runs outside the blood vessel. Yingqi and Weiqi runs endlessly， interlinking each other， just like a ring.Physiological and pathological characteristics of the Sanjiao is introduced as well， while upper jiao being organ of fogging， middle jiao being organ of soaking， and lower jiao being organ of draining. Clinical treatment principle for the elderly patients with sleep disorders and spontaneous sweating was also provided.
