Concerning the intersection and running course of Jueyin Liver Meridian of Foot（liver meridian）and Taiyin Spleen Meridian of Foot（spleen meridian）on eight cun above the medial malleolus，many scholars put forward their views.The locations of meridian-connected viscera determine the positions of meridians running course in four limbs；the starting positions of liver meridian and spleen meridian decide the intersection in the subsequent running course；the unusual distribution of liver meridian and spleen meridian is caused by the nonstandard posture with the inward great toe.After research and analysis，the paper presents the viewpoint that propagated sensation along meridians when stimulating acupoints with acupuncture and massage indicates the existence of meridians，and the locations of acupoints with similar treatment functions determine the running course of meridians.This point of view is to explain the intersection and running course of liver meridian and spleen meridian on eight cun above the medial malleolus in the medial side of the lower leg.
