Experience of professor Wu Lianzhong in treating strephenopodia after stroke with acupuncture

Abstract:

In the rehabilitation of patients with stroke hemiplegia, improving its walking capacity is one of the main goals. Strephenopodia is the cause of the hemiplegic gait after a stroke.Accordingly, the treatment of strephenopodia after a stroke is of great significance to the rehabilitation of stroke patients.Professor Wu Lianzhong, one of the national famous traditional Chinese medicine doctors, has unique insights and treatment methods to strephenopodia after a stroke.An acupuncture method featuring " helping Yang and suppressing Ying" has been established, whose clinical efficacy is significant.This article summarizes Wu′s experience in the treatment of strephenopodia after a stroke.
