Overview of clinical research on acupuncture therapy for finger spasm after stroke

Abstract:

Finger spasm is one of common sequelae after stroke, and seriously affects the patient's self-care ability and life quality.The acupuncture therapy is effective in treating this disease.In recent years,there have been a lot of clinical researches on acupuncture therapy of this disease.Through literature collection, it is concluded that acupuncture therapy of this disease mainly focuses on the point-through-point,and point selection mainly focuses on local points and experience points.In addition, electroacupuncture,blood-letting puncture, and moxibustion are also widely used in clinical practice.This paper confirms the clinical efficacy and development prospect of acupuncture in treating this disease, and also puts forward many problems existing in clinical research, providing references for improving the efficacy of acupuncture therapy and further scientific research in the future.
