Clinical research progress of acupuncture treatment for migraine

Abstract:

In recent years, there have been numerous articles on acupuncture treatment of migraine at home and abroad.Acupuncture and moxibustion have been included in the relevant treatment guidelines of the United States and included in the scope of American medical insurance.Traditiona Chinese medicine acupuncture and moxibustion have been more and more respected by the world.Particularly, acupuncture and moxibustion have many methods to treat migraine.Compared with commonly used analgesic drugs in western medicine, acupuncture and moxibustion have the characteristics of definite curative effect, small side effects and high acceptability.This paper overviews and analyzes the literature on acupuncture treatment of migraine at home and abroad from November 2008 to November 2018, and summarizes the research progress of acupuncture treatment of migraine, so as to better guide clinical practiceand experimental research.
