Cervical spondylosis, also called cervical vertebrae syndrome, is a disease based on degenerative pathological changes, including cervical osteoarthritis, proliferative cervical spondylitis, cervical nerve root syndrome and cervical disc prolapse. According to research in CNKI, Wanfang database and VIP database, clinical literatures on abdominal acupuncture treatment of cervical spondylosis in recent years were collected, analyzed and summarized. Results showed that conservative treatment was mainly applied and operation was supplemented, but it was usually subject to reoccurrence. Abdominal acupuncture for cervical spondylosis is applied with abdominal acupoints, with the advantages of simplicity, convenience, efficiency, cheapness, safety, etc. As a new therapy, it is worthy of further promotion and application.
