Abstract:
As the confluent acupoint of foot-taiyang meridian,shaoyang meridian of the foot and hand,jueying meridian of foot,Baihui(DU 20)belongs to the governor meridian and locates at the top of the head. The authors analyzed functions of the acupoint for ascending up the spleen qi,sending up the clear and descending the turbid,warming yang to dispelling cold,restoring yang,benefiting brain and marrow,tranquilizing and allaying excitement,restoring consciousness,regulating qi and blood,smoothing meridians,dispelling the wind.
