Abstract:

The selection, evaluation, and promotion of appropriate Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) techniques are closely interrelated. The research team has previously conducted exploratory and empirical studies on the selection and evaluation methods of appropriate TCM techniques with a focus on promotion. This study, commissioned by the Beijing 321 Project on external TCM techniques for internal pediatric diseases, aims to assess the training effects of these techniques. The research team proposed the"Individualized Thematic Evaluation” method, that is,designing themes according to the characteristics and key elements of appropriate techniques, and conducting an evaluation of each trainee′s understanding, mastery, and the practical clinical diagnosis and treatment application effects of the technical themes. This study constructs the “Individualized Thematic Evaluation” method through the evaluation of the training effects of external TCM techniques for internal diseases in pediatrics.Starting from the coherence of the entire chain of appropriate technique screening-evaluation-promotion,it evaluates the effect of the key link of technique promotion, namely “technique training”,aiming to achieve efficient linkage among the screening, evaluation, and promotion of appropriate techniques.
