Abstract:

The Changbai Mountain Meridian-Regulating and Organ-Harmonizing Manipulation School traces its origins to the Changbai Mountain region. Through the relentless efforts and innovations of generations of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) practitioners, it has gradually developed into an academic TCM school with a profound foundation, distinctive features, diverse techniques, and significant therapeutic effects. The school excels in unblocking meridians and emphasizes regulating internal organs. With a focus on holistic regulation, it has formed a unique treatment system, achieving notable clinical outcomes over nearly a century of medical practice and gaining widespread academic influence. This paper systematically summarizes and analyzes the theoretical foundation, diagnostic and therapeutic characteristics, as well as core techniques of the Changbai Mountain Meridian-Regulating and Organ-Harmonizing Manipulation School. The aim is to contribute to the inheritance and development of this school, further promoting the essence of TCM culture, and facilitating the application of TCM external therapies in modern medicine.

Key words: Tui Na therapy, Changbai Mountain, Meridian regulation and Zangfu adjustment techniques
