Abstract:

Rotavirus gastroenteritis is a common intestinal infectious disease in children. It mostly occurs in autumn and winter and is mainly characterized by fever, vomiting and diarrhea.Professor Cheng Yan believes that the summer-heat and dampness is easily trapped inside because of children′s tender spleen and stomach, and rotavirus enteritis is therefore caused if it is induced by the exogenous wind dryness and wind chill in autumn and winter. The key pathogenesis of the disease is that the superficies and interior syndromes showed at the same time since summer-heat and dampness trapped in spleen was triggered by bad weather. The treatment rules should follow that Biaoli Tongzhi, Xinsan Danshen and Fenxiao Zouxie. At the same time, pay attention to protecting Yin fluid to prevent the occurrence of deteriorated cases. The clinical effect of Huopei Zhuru Tang is remarkable.
