Abstract:

Traditional Chinese medicine is the treasure of our country, and massage therapy is a characteristic therapy of it. Existing standards related to massage in our country are analyzed, and finds out 9 current massage-related items, including one terminology standard, six operation standards, and two service standards. There is no unified standard for massage, while quality of standard and definition of massage time are in great difference. It is imperative to boost the development of massage therapy, promote cooperation, establish a standard platform and actively formulate high-quality massage therapy standards to facilitate its access and use.
