Abstract:

The clinical literature of various acupuncture therapies for treating post-stroke hiccup in recent 10 years was retrieved, and the treatment ideas and methods of various acupuncture therapies for post-stroke hiccup were analyzed and summarized. Studies show that the acupuncture therapy has advantages of fast onset, high curative effect and few adverse consequences. Acupuncture therapy derived from a variety of treatment ideas has a certain curative effect. Summarizing the research content, diagnosis and treatment ideas and research results, and briefly expounding the ideas, application and curative effect of various acupuncture therapies, the ideas for the future treatment of post-stroke hiccup are therefore broadened. In view of many deficiencies in current studies, it is expected to improve comparative research of various acupuncture therapies in the future, and determining the unified diagnostic criteria and syndrome differentiation system, so as to provide a basis for finding the best treatment for this disease.
