Abstract:

With the deepening of the research on the role of apolipoprotein E gene(ApoE) polymorphism in the pathogenesis of Alzheimer′s disease (AD), and the preliminary development of the study on the nature of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) syndrome of AD at the gene level, the correlation between gene polymorphism and TCM syndrome has been gradually verified. Analyzing the occurrence and development of the disease from this point of view can provide new ideas for the diagnosis and treatment of the disease. This article reviews the literature on the role of ApoE gene polymorphism in the pathogenesis of AD and its correlation with TCM syndromes of AD in recent years, so as to provide new ideas and intervention methods for TCM prevention and treatment of AD, and may provide micro basis for TCM syndrome classification.
