Progress in research on mechanism of acupuncture for the blood flow of ischemic stroke

Abstract:

In recent years, acupuncture is widely used in clinical treatment of ischemic stroke. With the research progress of pathophysiological mechanisms of ischemic stroke, the effect of acupuncture on the blood flow mechanism of this disease has become a hotspot.Based on the recent studies on mechanism of acupuncture on ischemic stroke intervention, the author concluded that ischemic stroke can be treated with acupuncture by increasing the flow of blood to the brain, through improving brain blood rheological state, enhancing self-regulation of microvascular, promoting vascular remodeling and keeping the normal vascular tension. It has a a certain significance to reduce the mortality and morbidity and improve the quality of life.
