Abstract:

Migraine, as a common clinical disease, has the characteristics of recurrent attacks and prolonged illness. Once it develops, it will seriously affect the quality of life of patients and has great therapeutic significance. Patients generally need to take drugs for a long time to relieve the attack degree and reduce the recurrence rate. In the treatment of migraine, traditional Chinese medicine, including Chinese materia medica and acupuncture, has its advantages and characteristics compared with western medicine. This paper discusses the pathogenesis and treatment of migraine from the perspective of traditional Chinese medicine, and explores the feasibility of integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine treatment to provide more scientific basis for clinical treatment of migraine.
