Abstract:

Primary lateral humeral epicondylitis is aseptic inflammation by the external muscle of the humerus，causing conductive pain along the relative muscle especially at the lateral humeral epicondyle.But that because of muscular strain lasting pain below the mesoscapula or anterior scalene muscle usually has not been treated well，these syndromes are very common in clinical，and are defined as secondary soft tissue injury of lateral humeral epicondyle.The disease seriously affects the daily life and work in patients.The modern medical treatment for lateral humeral epicondylitis contains drug analgesia and local block therapy，which is only the symptomatic treatment not the permanent cure，and easy to relapse.Acupuncture of new-nine-needle has effect on primary and secondary lateral epicondylitis exactly by releasing lesion tissues using crochet needle therapy and warming and by energizing meridians using fire-needle therapy.Acupuncture of new-nine-needle can relieve pain and cure disease，restore joint motion of elbow，and have no adverse effects.
