Abstract:
Perimenopausal syndrome is a necessary physiological stage for women, characterized by a decline of female hormones within the body. Such transition necessitates the body to adjust to the altered hormonal milieu, leading to the manifestation of various discomforting reactions and symptoms. The faster the hormone decline, the more obvious the associated symptoms may become, with a crucial emphasis on mental adjustment. Chinese herbal medicine, acupuncture and moxibustion demonstrate superior clinical effectiveness and safety compared to Western medicine for the management of perimenopausal syndrome. " Tiaoshen Dafa" established by academician Shi Xuemin, a National Traditional Chinese Medicine Master, mainly focuses on regulating the spirit and fixing the will, and tonifying the liver and kidney. It has demonstrated effectiveness in the treatment of perimenstrual syndrome and is worthy of for clinical practice.
