Abstract:
Objective To observe the clinical effect of the treatment of bronchial asthma with summer plasters (Sanfu Tie) combined with acupuncture and flash cupping.
Methods 120 patients with bronchial asthma who met the criteria of diagnosis and inclusion were selected in the Acupuncture Department of Qinhuangdao Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from September 2016 to September 2019. According to the random number table method, they were divided into treatment group and control group, 60 cases in each group. The treatment group was treated with summer plasters combined with acupuncture and flash cupping, and the control group was treated with summer plasters alone. During the three periods of canicular days, patients were pasted once in a period respectively, with 9 times in total, and 3 years as a course of treatment. After one course of treatment, χ2 test was used to compare the therapeutic effect of the two groups.
Results The treatment group, 27 cases were cured, 31 cases were improved and 2 cases were invalid. The cure rate was 45.0% (27/60), and the total effective rate was 96.6% (58/60); the control group, 14 cases were cured, 37 cases were improved and 9 cases invalid. The cure rate was 23.3% (14/60), and the total effective rate was 85.5% (51/60). The cure rate and total effective rate of the treatment group were higher than those of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (χ2=6.261, 4.904, all P<0.05).
Conclusion The therapeutic effect of summer plasters combined with acupuncture and flash cupping is better than that of summer plasters alone, which has brought the advantages of traditional Chinese medicine into full play and is worth popularizing in clinical practice.
