Progress in experimental research on acupuncture treatment of consciousness-restoring resuscitation for ischemic stroke

Abstract:

According to the theory of traditional Chinese medicine, combined with the understanding of modern medicine for apoplexy, Shi Xuemin, the academician of China engineering academy, founded the acupuncture method of consciousness-restoring resuscitation. The clinical and basic experimental studies indicated that the acupuncture method of consciousness-restoring resuscitation had a significant role in the treatment of ischemic stroke. In recent years, the experimental researches on the acupuncture method of consciousness-restoring resuscitation have been gradually deep into molecular level. This article reviews experimental research progress on literatures of ischemic stroke treated by acupuncture method of consciousnessrestoring resuscitation in recent 10 years. To investigate the mechanism of acupuncture method of consciousnessrestoring resuscitation for treatment of ischemic stroke can provide ideas and methods for clinical study.
