Abstract:

The researches of acupuncture timing can help to find the best timing for acupuncture treatment, and maximize the therapeutic effect of acupuncture thus improving the recovery rate of patients. There are many confounding factors in timing researches, and acupuncture being a complex individual intervention further deepens the difficulty. This paper summarized the key points of the protocol design of " Acupuncture timing study on Xingnao Kaiqiao acupuncture in the treatment of limb dysfunction in cerebral infarction" , and discussed the design and implementation of the protocol in terms of the exposure group, study population, inclusion criteria, outcome indicators, Logistic multifactorial regression analysis, pairwise design, and bias control, with a view to providing a more novel and broader research idea for the follow-up study.
