Theory and application of acupuncture method of regulating spleen and stomach

Abstract:

The acupuncture method of regulating spleen and stomach is a kind of acupuncture method developed by the author in combination with the theory of Huangdi Neijing and inspired by the academic thought of doctors in the past dynasties, which is used to restore the ascending, descending, transportation and transformation function of spleen and stomach. The theory of spleen and stomach acupuncture is based on the physiological function and characteristics of the spleen and stomach. The acupuncture manipulation and acuppoints prescription follow these principles: The essence of stomach disorders is abnormal ascending and descending, which should be regulated. The characteristics of spleen and stomach is firm and dryness, which should be moistening.The function of spleen and stomach is reception, so digestion function should be enhanced.With the proper acupoints prescription, the ascending and descending of qi in the middle jiao, the transportation of spleen and stomach, the producing of qi and blood, and the distribution of essence would be promoted, thus zang-fu organs and skeleton could be nourished.
