Abstract:

Principle parameters of electroacupuncture include frequency, wave form, intensity, time, combination selection, etc., all of which are related to the stimulating quantity of electroacupuncture. Factors were explained one by one to explore the general rule of electroacupuncture in different parameters, introduce the progress of clinical and experimental research on different parameters of electroacupuncture and analyze the advantages and disadvantages of using different stimulus parameters. It is found that the present study of electroacupuncture parameters has made great progress compared with the previous study, but most of them are still focused on the frequency of electroacupuncture. The research factors are relatively single, the research methods are lack of standardization, and the process of electroacupuncture parameters quantitative effect has a long way to go. The clinical and experimental literatures about electroacupuncture parameters were reviewed to provide some ideas and references for the use of electroacupuncture in clinical and experimental studies.
