Abstract:

The pathological tight muscle is the one that has one or more myofascial trigger points, that is, a muscle that remains tense when the motor center is fully relaxed. Ischemia and hypoxia are the essence of the pathological tight muscle. The decrease in systole function caused by muscle tension and spasm is the manifestation of the pathological tight muscle.Being tight, stiff, hard and slippery are the characteristics of the pathological tight muscle. Floating needle therapy can relieve muscle tension, relieve pain, improve knee flexion and extension, and promote postoperative functional recovery of patients through subcutaneous scrolling and reperfusion activities. This paper discusses the role of floating needle in the rehabilitation of patients after total knee arthroplasty from the perspective of affected muscle, providing a new diagnosis and treatment idea and rigorous scientific research data for the clinic, and providing a more powerful evidence-based medical basis for the clinical use of floating needle.
