Overview of acupuncture treatment for stroke in different academic schools

Abstract

Abstract:

The effectiveness of acupuncture and moxibustion in the treatment of stroke has been acknowledged by the medical profession.A lot of acupuncture methods and academic schools have been developed since ancient times.According to clinical application and influence combining with relevant document literature，the paper draws such conclusion that acupuncture treatment for stroke can be summarized as follows：the traditional acupuncture therapy，xingnao kaiqiao acupuncture，scalp acupuncture，niesanzhen therapy，abdominal acupuncture，bloodletting therapy，Hayes＂three links＂，acupuncture and medicine therapy.These investigation results will further popularize the clinical application and provide useful evidence and reference for improving the curative effect on stroke.
