Progress of Chinese medicine in the treatment of esophageal carcinoma

Abstract

Abstract:

Esophageal cancer is one of the common malignant tumors in the digestive system.China is one of the countries in the world that has a higher incidence and mortality of esophageal cancer.Its onset was insidious， and often was found in advanced stages.Radiotherapy and chemotherapy were the main treatment by western medicine， but ineffective， can cause bone marrow suppression and leukopenia.Chinese medicine has made a lot of development in the treatment of this disease with the deepening of its research.Chinese medicine therapy can significantly improve the quality of life and survival in patients.Therefore， it carries on the summary to the progress of Chinese medicine treatment for esophageal carcinoma.
