Research progress in the treatment for mastitis

Abstract

Abstract:

Mastitis is common in lactation women，especially in the primipara.To clear the etiology of mastitis is the basis for effective treatment.There is unique theoretical system for the understanding of mastitis in both traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine. A lot of scientific research on the causes of mastitis and clinical practice has been carried out. In the long-term clinical practice，there were many treatments for mastitis，such as，massage technique treatment，treatment of traditional Chinese medicine，Western medicine treatment，surgical treatment and instrument treatment，and some combined treatment methods. These methods have their own characteristics，with advantages of thorough treatment，less damage and low recurrence rate.This study reviewed nearly five years of related literature for the treatment of mastitis.
